Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. -John 15:13
We want you to know that God loves you and died for you. When you visit with us we want to show you the same love that we were shown when we came to church for the first time.
We started out in the living room of one of our first members, Mary Bell's house, we soon outgrew that living room. From that living room the Fairview Community Church was born and began worshipping in a rented building. After some time in that space the Lord graciously allowed the church to purchase a one room school house in the neighboring township. Over the course of the next few years the church added a Sunday school wing onto their building. As the church grew they saw a need for bigger building and during the 1970's they constructed our current sanctuary. The Lord used Pastor Donald Ryland to oversee the building projects and shepherd the flock that is now Calvary Fellowship Chapel. From a living room to the current property we are on God has directed and blessed our church. In 2011 Pastor Ryland graduated to glory where he saw firsthand his Savior and King. In 2012 God called Pastor Kristian McGee from Bel Air, Maryland to come and continue what God is doing at Calvary Fellowship Chapel. That part of our story is still being written, and we would love to have you come and be a part of what God is still doing at Calvary.
The Journey Continues...
Come and grow with us!
